The accuracy of connector terminals is mainly affected by three aspects

Terminal accuracy is the key factor to determine the stability of connector signal transmission. It is mainly affected by the dimensional accuracy of the die, the accuracy of the die coupling and the accuracy of the punch equipment. Specifically, the terminal accuracy we mentioned includes size accuracy, shape accuracy and position accuracy.
(1) Dimensional accuracy
Dimensional accuracy refers to the degree to which the actual size of the terminal is close to the ideal size. It is usually expressed by dimensional tolerance. The larger the tolerance number, the lower the dimensional accuracy. The smaller the tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.
(2) Shape accuracy
Shape precision refers to the degree to which the actual shape of the terminal is close to the ideal shape. Form tolerance includes straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity, line profile and surface profile.
(3) Positional tolerance
Position tolerance refers to the degree to which the actual position wall between the terminal surface, axis or symmetry plane is close to the ideal position interference. Terminal position tolerance includes parallelism, perpendicularity, inclination, coaxiality, symmetry, position, circular runout and total runout.
