There are four main causes of harness damage

Wire harness is an important part to realize wiring connection between internal circuit board and circuit board, circuit board and components or components of electronic equipment, and it can also be used to connect electrical appliances and external equipment. During the use of wire harness, once the wire harness is not energized, the equipment will not operate. Therefore, the harness must be checked and maintained in time during the daily maintenance of the equipment. The main causes of harness damage include:
1. Insulator aging: In the long-term use of the equipment, if the equipment is often under poor heat dissipation or overload conditions, the harness insulator will be more prone to aging, causing cracks, and finally the harness cannot be powered on normally. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the heat dissipation of the equipment or replace the harness in time.
2. The insulator is affected with moisture: in a humid environment, the harness insulation will be more likely to enter the insulator due to the resonance and cracking during use, which will cause problems such as the harness being affected with moisture and corrosion, and finally cannot be energized. Therefore, the insulation layer of the protective harness should be strengthened or the harness should be replaced in a timely manner in a humid environment.
3. Too high voltage: too high voltage will break through the electrical layer of the harness, causing the harness to fail to power on. At this time, it is necessary to check the equipment voltage and replace the damaged harness in time.
4. Damage: Improper operation of equipment by employees during the use of harness is also an important cause of harness damage. For example, excessive bending, excessive stretching of the harness, and abrasion of the insulation layer are common causes of failure to power on normally. Therefore, in the face of man-made damage to the harness, it is not only necessary to replace the harness, but also to reduce the replacement cost caused by improper operation through management.
